My Story
It all started with a little sample.
I could never have candles in my house because of my husband’s allergies. So when he came home from a friend’s house showing me a flyer and sample and telling me it didn’t bother him, I got pretty excited ! I had never heard of Scentsy before so I went online to see what it was all about.
I was working Full time at the time and there were talks of cutbacks, so when I saw the JOIN and all the great stuff in the startup kit, the low start up price and setting my own hours, I thought “Why not”. Now I am not the type of person to "sell" stuff. I suffered from low self esteem and was very self conscious. But there was something about it that kept drawing me in. I figured I could at least make enough to get my personal stuff and make a little gas money. And if it didn’t work out (my typical way of thinking) I would at least have all the product from my kit that I knew I would use.
That was September 1, 2009. The day I got my Startup kit I was in love! Aside from all the wonderful Scents, the safety features were a major plus. And little did I know, as time went on, this company was going to Wow me even more!
By October I promoted to Certified and got my first team member, November I promoted again to Lead and had even more team members……..Wow! Me a Leader!?!?! And it didn’t stop there! More promotions, Awards and Trips earned!!
That thought of “if it doesn’t work” was replaced with setting goals and accomplishing more than I could have ever imagined! The satisfaction I got from sharing Scentsy and helping others build their own business was in my blood.
Scentsy had changed my life in more ways than just financially. There is a sense of pride when I share Scentsy with others.
What other company treats their consultants like family, gives back to the community, schools, charitable organizations and military programs. They hold true to "Giving more than you receive".
Today I am a Star Director with over 100 (and growing) of the most amazing Consultants that a person can surround herself with. I am blessed to have My loving husband and my sons by my side supporting me all the way.
And I have gone from a Self Conscious person with Low Self-esteem and to a Self -Assured and Confident Person.
